L'no Minigog Shoreline Revetment – Public Comments Invited

February 16, 2024 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed L'no Minigog Shoreline Revetment, located in Indian Island Nation, is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

The project includes Repairs to damage from Hurricane Fiona on an existing revetment structure using rip rap, armour stone and geotextile material to protect against erosion caused by wave action, storm surge and currents. Approximate area to be repaired - 3100m2
