The Proposed Project

Wharf structure 401 is currently damaged due to Hurricane Fiona and needs repairs. To address its deteriorated conditions, Fisheries and Oceans Canada - Small Craft Harbours is planning on proceeding with rock installation to encapsulate the damaged part of the structure. To proceed with this work, the wharf will be cut in certain sections so that the rock can be properly installed. After preparing the wharf, the rock will be installed by using specific machinery, such as an excavator. The total footprint of this added rock installation will be approximately 110m2.
