YUL Montreal-Trudeau International Airport – Expansion of the Holding Bay of Runway 24L - Public Comment Period

January 26, 2024 - ADM Aéroports de Montréal must determine whether the proposed project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, ADM Aéroports de Montréal is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

The project consists of an expansion of the holding bay of Runway 24L which will increase the paved surface by approximately 19,500 m2. The holding bay of Runway 24L is located in the north-easterly area of Runway 06R-24L (South Runway). The work includes the relocation of drinking water and sanitary water pipes as well as the installation of safety equipment and related electrical infrastructure.
