Notice of Intent to Make a Determination

Okanese First Nation Head Start Building Construction - Public Comments invited

August 1, 2023 - Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Okanese First Nation Head Start Building Construction, to be located on Okanese First Nation IR# 82, is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.

The Proposed Project

Construction of a new 4000m² Head Start Building on the Okanese First Nation IR# 82 within the NW 33-22-10 W2M. The new building will require utility connection to exisitng sanitary, power and gas services within proximity to the facility.
