Notice of Time Limit Resumption

Ottawa — July 10, 2023 — On July 7, 2023, the comment period on the summary of the Initial Project Description for the Moraine Power Generation Project was completed. The activity for which Moraine Initiatives Ltd. (the proponent) requested that the time limit be suspended on June 9, 2023 has thereby been completed, and the 180-day time limit has resumed.

The 180-day time limit is the period of time within which the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (the Agency) must provide the proponent with a notice of the commencement of the impact assessment, if the Agency decides that an impact assessment of the project is required.
