December 13, 2022 – Infrastructure Canada must determine whether the proposed Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte - Elder Care Home Project in the Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory (Reserve #38) in ON is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Infrastructure Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments will be considered public. The project seeks to construct a First Nation long term care home in the local community to provide personal care and comfort to growing elderly population who currently face language and cultural challenges when having to leave the community. Services will include 24-hour nursing and personal care, activities, laundry, food services and administration.
