Notice of Time Limit Extension

Ottawa — July 20, 2023 — On July 18, 2023, the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (the Agency) granted an extension to the three-year time limit for GCT Canada Limited Partnership (the proponent) to provide the required information or studies set out in the notice of commencement of the impact assessment of GCT Deltaport Expansion – Berth Four Project.

The Agency has taken this action following a written request from the proponent that the time limit be extended by twenty-four months. The reasons for the Agency's determination are provided in its response to the proponent.

The new deadline for the proponent to provide the required information or studies described in the notice of commencement of the impact assessment is May 31, 2027.
