The Proposed Project

Wikwemikong First Nation is proposing an Elders Home Redevelopment Project. The current Elder's Home (Long-Term Care Home) is under capacity, and needs to be redeveloped with a higher bed capacity. The new Elder's Home will be ~7,000 m2. The lot will be serviced with communal water/wastewater treatment system, hydro, and fibre-optics. Also, this project will include the development of a gravel road access with appropriate drainage ditching to the new Elder's Home facility.
