[May 5, 2023] – ISC must determine whether the proposed Old Massett Mobile Eco-Depot and In-Vessel Composting System, located in Old Massett is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, ISC is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

Proposed Project

The project includes construction and installation of a metal frame building for compost operations of an Earth Flow composter. The site will feature a steel building, concrete pads and apron, compost bays, and wood chip storage area. The proposed site area is adjacent to the existing waste water treatment facility for the community.
