YMX International Aerocity of Mirabel – Rehabilitation of a Former Fuel Reception and Distribution Center (Trans-Northern Pipelines Inc.) – Public Comments Invited

April 27, 2023 - ADM Aéroports de Montréal must determine whether the proposed project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, ADM Aéroports de Montréal is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public and may be posted online.

The Proposed Project

Trans-Northern Pipelines Inc. (TNPI) owns a meter station located near chemin Bélanger at YMX International Aerocity of Mirabel. This station, which was used to deliver aviation fuel, is regulated by the Canada Energy Regulator (CER). As part of decommissioning the metering station, TNPI will complete site remediation and reclamation activities, including the removal and off-site disposal of any contaminated soil and its replacement with agricultural soils. TNPI will also install wells to monitor groundwater quality.
