Wahnapitae First Nation – Public Comments Invited
April 06, 2023, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation and Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed two (2) row houses, eight (8) total units each, located in Wahnapitae First Nation, is likely to cause significant adverse effects. To help inform this determination, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.

The Proposed Project
Wahnapitae First Nation is proposing to build Two (2) row homes each with eight (8) units. The homes will include the building and parking areas. Project activities include clearing and grubbing, the installation of access driveway/parking, construction of foundations, backfill and grading, utilities and services including sewer and water piping as well as power and communication lines, well, and septic field.
