Kapawe'no Adventure Trail Project - Public Comments Invited

April 4, 2023 – Infrastructure Canada must determine whether the proposed Kapawe'no Adventure Trail Project, located in Grouard, Alberta, is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, Infrastructure Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public. The Proposed Project

The proposed project is to add two new trail loops and create a multi-use trail for year round use. The multi-use trail is to be used year-round with the intention that people have access to and will benefit from safe, supportive infrastructure in the Community.

Project works include:

  • 6 km of multi-use paths, 3 m in width;
  • 8 bike racks/lockers;
  • 10 benches; and
  • 130 lights.
