Notice of determination for the Pelican Lake First Nation - Quonset Addition

June 8, 2022 - Indigenous Services Canada has determined that the proposed Pelican Lake First Nation - Quonset Addition is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

The determination was based on a consideration of the following factors:

-the Quonset addition will provide appropriate storage for heavy equipment and vehicles
-Pelican Lake FN provided a band council resolution for the project
-no public comments were received about the project
-Quonset is already connected to existing water, sewer, gas and power services
-any construction waste will be disposed of at the solid waste transfer station

Indigenous Services Canada is satisfied that the carrying out of the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
