The Royal Canadian Mounted Police must determine whether the proposed TPOF Electrical Substation Replacement, located in Ottawa, is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public. For more information, individuals should consult the Privacy Notice on the Registry website.

The Proposed Project

The existing electrical substation located at TPOF is to be replaced in its entirety, including the switch gear, transformer and secondary. The project will include provision of a second feeder overhead and a second utility meter will be installed. The line will be buried alongside an existing roadway for the majority of its length.
