September 14, 2021 – The Montreal Port Authority (MPA) has determined that the proposed project of Reinforcement of the caissons along berths 50 to 52 at the Port of Montreal is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

Mitigation measures taken into account for this determination are:

• Fish protection
• Containment and spill management
• Erosion, sediment and suspended matter control
• Contaminated soil management
• Waste management
• Operation of machinery
  Therefore, the MPA may perform any duty or function to enable the project to be carried out in whole or in part.
