The Royal Canadian Mounted Police must determine whether the proposed Parking Lot Asphalt Replacement at Toronto West (Milton) Detachment, located in Milton, is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this determination, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination. All comments received will be considered public. For more information, individuals should consult the Privacy Notice on the Registry website.

The Proposed Project

The objective of the proposed project at the Toronto West (Milton) Detachment is to reinstate the original asphalt grading to the secure north parking area, as well as an adjustment to the south entrance gate. The total asphalt surface area within the scope of work is approximately 1,664 square meters. The site is a crown-owned facility with the RCMP as the sole tenant. The detachment is a 3-storey structure with a full basement and mechanical penthouse.
