The Proposed Project

The proposed project involves five separate watermain extensions (for a combined total of 8,094 meters in length) and the installation of a below grade cistern. The lands required for the watermain construction are all within the existing right of-way (ROW) periodically maintained by Public Work Staff, and the cistern will be located on a band owned property, the Maintenance Garage. All structures (homes, commercial building etc.) along the new watermain installation that connect to the system will also require a new water service line that connects to the building's existing plumbing system (with the exception of properties that are already connected to the Airport Public Water System, as they already have existing service lines).
