Gros-Cacouna Marshes, Quebec - September 25, 2020

The Canadian Wildlife Service of Environment and Climate Change Canada has determined that the proposed Outdoor Agora project to welcome visitors to the Gros-Cacouna Marsh by the Maliseet First Nation of Viger (Wolastoqiyik Wahsipekuk) is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

If necessary, mitigation measures will be implemented at the site to reduce impacts on wildlife, migratory birds, species at risk and vegetation.

Accordingly, the Canadian Wildlife Service of Environment and Climate Change Canada may carry out/recommend the Project, exercise any power, perform any duty or function, or provide financial assistance to enable the Project to be carried out in whole or in part.
