July 31, 2020 — The Department of National Defence must decide whether the proposed project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

To help inform this decision, the Department of National Defence is inviting comments from the public on the project and its potential effects on the environment. The Proposed Project

The Department of national Defence is proposing to remove trench materials in the Range and Training Area C1. Trench materials are corrugated steel sheets with wood and metal stakes. Total approximate trench area of 468 square meters. The project work also includes site restoration. The project will occur in the Range Training Area (RTA) at Wainwright
