Alexis Nakota Sioux Jr. / Sr. High School Education Dock – Public Comments Invited
July 20, 2020 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Alexis Nakota Sioux Jr. / Sr. High School - Educational dock located in 53.73, -114.472 is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.

The Proposed Project
The Band is currently building a new Jr. / Sr. High school on this site and part of the educational opportunities that this site offers is to learn about the environment and the lake that the site is adjacent to. This project would include building a dock into the lake accessible from the school site to provide space for educational program opportunities.
