Moncton 1 Site Development – Public Comments Invited

April 27, 2020 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Moncton 1 Site Development, located in Moncton, New Brunswick is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.

The Proposed Project

The project will commercially develop 49 acres of land situated alongside the TransCanada Highway in the Caledonia/Harrisville Industrial Park area in Moncton, NB.  The project consists of site development and servicing to support business developments.   Project activities will include grubbing, water, wastewater, storm sewer, street work, site works and grading, electrical supply and paving. The land will require bringing water and sewer from municipal servicing, earth to be brought in to accommodate site layout and to prepare for roads to be brought in.
