My Education, My Future (MEMF)

The "My Education, My Future" (MEMF) project, funded by Global Affairs Canada, is executed by a consortium led by Right to Play International and the Norwegian Refugee Council. This initiative focuses on enhancing access to quality education for girls impacted by the Burundian refugee crisis in Burundi and Tanzania. A key component of the project involves the construction and rehabilitation of water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) facilities across six ECOFO schools in the Gisuru Commune of Burundi. Additionally, the project includes non-structural WASH rehabilitation activities in Tanzania

The project's key physical activities include the construction of new toilet blocks with changing rooms, the rehabilitation of existing toilet blocks, and the installation of rainwater harvesting systems and storage tanks.
