• I'd be surprised by an LNG project that would last 5 years from 2024 but a project that is considered to only start construction in 2028 and last 30 years is unbelievable. I also have to question the need for a column in Appendix C of the project description that shows the calculated values for the green house gases emitted by this project as a percentage of BC's total emission. Is this necessary or is it provided to demonstrate how insignificant these numbers are compared to the whole of BC. These values also do not account for the supposed reduction in emissions from the 2007 baseline for the province of British Columbia, which by the projects end in the late 2050's would put the percentage of emissions contributed by the LNG project to BC's annual emissions at closer to 0.75% than 0.17%. How much money would this bring in to Canada, B.C., and the communities around Summit Lake? Is B.C. or Canada subsidizing this project, if so how much money is ...
