Lack of consultation alarming

A development of this scale, with potential impacts on land use, power demand, water use, noise, traffic, emergency response capacity, environmental conditions, and nearby residents, appears to be proceeding without meaningful consultation with the people who may be affected.

A facility of this nature is not a minor or routine development. AI data centres can place significant demand on municipal and regional infrastructure, including electrical systems, water resources, road networks, and emergency services. They may also create ongoing operational impacts such as noise from cooling systems, backup generation, lighting, truck movement, and changes to the surrounding rural or residential character of the area. Residents deserve clear information before decisions are made and a meaningful way to participate in consultation. 

I'm alarmed that this is proceeding without having even been notified.
