How about not put the peoples Tax money into AI, How about actually do something that will help the people in this city like better transit or healthcare? Why are we spending money in places where the people of this city didn't ask for? Having an AI Data center isn't a good idea. Our power grid can't handle something this massive especially when we had a power grid crisis in 2024 when we had extreme cold weather. Even if its not winter putting more Strain on our power infrastructure is not a good idea. And if this were to even pass or green lite we as calgarians are paying for it out of our hard earned money. While our cost of living keeps going up. So no. Please put our tax money and resources in existing services in the city instead of something like a AI data Center.
