Albertans DO NOT want CSAM generators in our province

Alberta in general is already dealing with consistent droughts, hundreds if not thousands of forest fires yearly, and municipal electricity demands that are already not being met by the power companies who only seek to wring every possible cent from Albertans. Why would we want to have one of these environmental disasters in our backyard when we can look south of the border and see how they have already wreaked havoc on the communities that have been taken advantage of. AI data center growth in America is causing significant issues, including massive strain on power grids, huge water consumption (threatening local supplies), rising energy bills for residents, local pollution (noise/air), and environmental justice concerns.

We dont want to have our limited water taken away like the residents of Mansfield, Georgia, who have had their water supply DESTROYED by a Meta AI datacenter. We don't want to have our air poluted like the citizens of Memphis, Tennese , who have seen a sharp increase of hospitaizations due to the rampant air poution from Musk's xAI data center. We dont want the noise polution like the citizens of Loudoun County, Virginia, who can't even open their windows on a hot night due noise exceeding 90 decibles coming from the Amazon data center

Also, with generative AI being actively used to generate and distribute CSAM, the idea of having a data center in our province DISGUSTS ME! Keep AI slop centers out of our province! PUT PEOPLE OVER AI! FUND PROJECTS THAT WILL STRENGTHEN OUR POWER GRIDS, NOT DRAIN THEM! WORK TO PROTECT OUT LIMITED WATER SUPPLY!
