  • Good morning,   My apologies for the delay. We were working with our legal team, and I see I have missed the deadline by a day (yesterday). I am hoping you will still consider our comments regarding the Flipi Gas-Fired Generation Project. I have attached a commitment letter that has been signed by our legal council and the legal council of TransAlta for the AUC process regarding the project. For this type of project, Clearwater County will require a redistricting of the property to the appropriate land use district for the proposed use, and then an application for a development permit for that use once that property is appropriately zoned. That application for development permit will require the operator meet setbacks identified in the land use bylaw, and will request items as per the commitment letter, such as fencing/screening and road use agreements.
