To Whom it may concern,

This project should not be approved as it is. There is a need for a new Power Plant, however they should not be built within communities. It has been proven then when facilities such as a the one proposed are built in communities property values decrease exponentially. Making it so people cannot leave even if they wish, but also that the investments they spend their lives paying into become worthless. The housing market in Nova Scotia is in crisis already, adding a whole community to the list will help no one. Access to clean drinking water is needed for daily living, this power plant threatens the reliability of safe drinking water for the community. By tapping into the spring and using it as such a high volume daily the risk of wells running dry is significantly increased. There is also a risk of air pollutants and over all traffic increase destroying the peace and thus overall appeal of this little community. So please before approving this project think about the live it will affect, rather than being blinded by what the company wants you to see.
