Battery Storage

Continuing to build out solar and wind generation and implementing Battery storage seems like the way forward.

Grid Battery storage has been very sucessfully implemented in Ontario at Oneida; On Time, Under Budget, no emissions, less expensive to construct and maintain.

This proposed facility would be powered by imported gas untill local gas supplies could be re-started. Solar, and battery installations are: local, simple, scaleable, and straight forward in comparrison. Wind projects are more complicated, but already underway.

Why would we go back to fossil fuel? Restarting local offshore gas would be going backwards and comes with big financial and environmental risks!
