FPX Nickel - Baptiste Nickel Project Letter of Support

I am writing on behalf of Onsite Engineering Ltd. to express support for the continued advancement of the Baptiste Nickel Project proposed by FPX Nickel Corp. in British Columbia.

Our involvement since 2021 for site access investigations has provided us with the opportunity to work closely with the FPX team and observe the level of effort, planning, and engagement being applied to the development of this project. Through our involvement, we have observed the professional approach taken by the project management team and their willingness to engage with and gather input from local communities.

Based on our experience, the FPX team is working to identify the best solutions for site access while considering potential impacts to communities, the environment, and other industries, rather than relying solely on initial project costs. FPX Nickel has demonstrated a genuine interest in engaging with communities and creating opportunities for early collaboration through technical workshops, transparency, and open conversations.

In addition to these engagement efforts, the project also has the potential to support long-term economic stability in the region. Communities across British Columbia have long relied on industries such as forestry for economic support. However, as the forestry industry faces increasing challenges, the development of the Baptiste Nickel Project could help provide additional economic stability for the region for decades.

Onsite Engineering Ltd. supports the advancement of the Baptiste Nickel Project through the British Columbia environmental assessment process and appreciates the opportunity to provide comments during this consultation period. We believe the ongoing review and engagement process will help ensure the project is developed responsibly while considering the interests of communities, First Nations, and the environment.
