Baptiste Nickel Project

I am pleased to express my support for FPX's Baptiste Nickel Project in northern British Columbia. The Baptise Project represents the type of development needed to strengthen local economies and build valuable assets that enhance Canada's natural resource sector. Nickel is a critical mineral used in applications from everyday items to advanced technologies, and Canada has demonstrated the value of its nickel resources through successfull developments of other nickel projects across the country.

This project will create employment opportunities across a range of industries, from construction through to operations and the many supporting services in between. I have had the opportunity to meet with the FPX Nickel team and am confident that they are committed to acting in the best interests of all parties involved and those who may be impacted by the project.
