Objections to the Ontario Pumped Storage Hydropower Project #89803

Comments are submitted as a Councillor and resident of The Town of The Blue Mountains, Ontario, an adjacent community which relies on water from Georgian Bay.

As a Town Councillor, I am legally bound to protect the drinking water of the residents I serve. I cannot accept the risk this project poses to our drinking water supply. Water sustains human life and is vital for human health (https://www.un.org/en/global-issues/water ).

Please find my attached document outlining my objections and concerns regarding the risks of the Ontario Pumped Storage Hydropower Project #89803.

I appreciate the need for energy and energy storage options, however, alternatives to this site need to be explored.
