To whom it may concern,
The creation of a new nuclear facility over renewables is fiscally irresponsible. Simply from a cost standpoint, solar, wind, and battery storage are cheaper (and will continue to get cheaper as technology improves) and is the global future of energy production. The people of Ontario, and Canada, deserve to have our governments invest in renewables. As energy demands continue to increase, we must elect to create an industry that will protect our energy independence and sovereignty. Nuclear has shown time and again to have massive cost overruns and take far longer to come on-line than promised. For the future of Ontario, and Canada, please do the right thing.
