Projet de nouvelle centrale nucléaire à Wesleyville
You need to seriously look at alternatives

I am concerned that extremely expensive nuclear power is being considered so close to where I live (and most of Ontarians). It's irresponsible to not consider cheaper solutions:
According to the IESO (https://ocaa.cmail20.com/t/y-l-ahituuy-ijljttidhi-d/), wind and solar combined with lithium-ion batteries can provide Ontario with reliable 24/7 electricity at a lower cost than new nuclear reactors.
Great Lakes offshore wind power with a lakebed footprint of less than one square km (https://ocaa.cmail20.com/t/y-l-ahituuy-ijljttidhi-h/) could meet all of Ontario’s electricity needs.
Solar farms with a footprint equal to 4/10ths of 1% of Ontario’s land area could also meet 100% of Ontario’s electricity needs.
Rooftop, balcony and parking lot solar (https://ocaa.cmail20.com/t/y-l-ahituuy-ijljttidhi-k/) also have huge potential.
You need to explore better and more sustainable alternatives instead of building the world’s largest nuclear station so close to our largest cities! This is not something to brag about, safer and cheaper alternatives need to be considered first. I don't want my money being used so irresponsibly.
