Transparency and trust

From what I gathered at tonight's Q&A session, the panel of people answering the questions could not accurately and clearly answer the questions. They dragged on their answers, filled them with jargon that civilians are sure to not understand, and sure enough, when it was not understood, they talked to us like we were idiots.

What we need from this project is TRANSPARENCY. You need to be MUCH clearer on WHY this is the best option. The community does not UNDERSTAND why you think this is the best option, and you cannot get mad when people are confused. You get NOWHERE by treating the community like idiots.

They are far from unintelligent. The people of Tantramar know far more about the land, wildlife, and water than anyone else. You need to LISTEN to their concerns.

I strongly felt we got nowhere with tonight's Q&A. Partly yes, because the community is already so frustrated, many do not have the capacity to listen anymore. But also because you did not have real, transparent, truthful answers to give us peace of mind.

We need explicit detail on every single assessment and clear information on why this is the best option without demeaning the community for their extremely valid concerns.
