Hello,

I would like to give some feedback in regards to the power line route and construction for this project. From what I see, it looks like there are two proposed routes. One being more direct and the other seeming to keep away from lakes and those properties a bit more. I am a resident in the Deka lake neighbourhood on the south side near where the planned routes are. It is not clear from the communication from the company and government on exactly where these lines are. It definately does not make sense to route them anywhere near the residental area or even right to the south. The main reason for this is that this is destined to be an area of residental expansion. There is already a reasonable population during the recreational months that this will affect. To put the lines too far to the north would be doing so without any forward thinking. The land to the south of Deka is much more usable and easily enhabited in comparison to the land to the north. In my opinion, this land will be subdivided in the future for a reasonably sizable population. It may seem rural now, but it wont be forever. This is a common thought throughout the people in the know which is why the property values at Deka lake generally exceed those from the surrounding areas. My suggestion which I believe would aleviate much of the concern would be to bring the line south earlier mid way between Deka and Horse lakes and then keep it farther south keeping the divide equally to the distance between Deka and Sheridan, then keeping north of Bridge lake. The line would follow more the route of Judson Rd which would be probably better for everyone, even the construction crews as the road would give crews way better access. The increase in the length of the transmission line looks like it would be fairly minimal if at all.

I appreciate the opportunity to submit feedback and I hope that you consider my points. I know the area well and I believe with a bit of investigation, it will make a lot of sense. Please confirm you have read this and taken note. Thanks!
