It is our understanding after meeting the proponent on July 21st, as you and I discussed last week, that this project is very early in its progression. As such, Alexander First Nation would like to be able to address concerns with this project on an ongoing basis once it is applied for as well.
Currently our main preliminary concern would be protection of both ground water and surface water runoff due to the proximity of this project to the North Saskatchewan River.
