Protect the Watershed

For the last 8 years I've cleaned up needles and litter around NW ON and one thing I've come to understand especially working with indigenous peoples the importance of water, and how our watershed here in the North is one of the largest in the world, tying into the Great lakes spanning from Hudson's Bay passed Duluth.

While it may seem viable to pick our remote communities and wilderness as a storage location i do not think that is scientifically and environmentally viable, I say this as a former student of Confederation Colleges AMET program, I understand how complex moving parts and systems work together.

If we arent using it to reduce our electricity bills, then we should keep it closer to where it is produced or find new ways to use it to produce energy using Thermoradiotropic generators. 

The last place Nuclear waste should go is in communities where Nuclear power isnt benefitting them. 

We must protect our watershed and the 20 percent of the worlds total freshwater we are responsible for, and with 4.4 billion people living in water insecurity and scarcity according to the UN, we cannot afford this risk without a doubt.
