Exclusion of Transportation from the DGR Impact Assessment is Unacceptable

I have serious concerns after learning that the scope of the federal Assessment process would not include the transportation of used fuel from reactor sites to the DGR. I vehemently oppose this unacceptable exclusion. The extraordinary number of similar comments made in this comment period - in less than 30 days should give the panel indisputable cause to reconsider. The radioactive waste will be transported with considerable risk by, and through thousands of communities - including mine - and we are entitled to a robust and comprehensive impact assessment.
