Federal Impact Assessment for the Nuclear Waste Project

It is imperative that a federal impact assessment for the nuclear waste project include transportation routes and risks within the project scope. As well, Indigenous rights, including free, prior and informed consent obligations must be protected as required under Canadian Law. Essential in the upholding of environmental justice is the inclusion of the rights of impacted communities along the proposed route to be informed and to have a say in this process.
