We are at present witnessing the most serious oil shock since 1971. Notwithstanding the fact that the timing of this problem is entirely the result of the Trump Administrations decision making it underscores the delicacy of the choises before us.

Clearly significant longterm investment in hydro, wind and solar energy far out weighs the value of any contribution which could be obtained from nuclear which untimately represents a waste problem of enormous significants and potential danger. Our willingness to assume such potential horrors duplicates our current reliance of petro chemicals.

Choices must be made employing not only the economics of the day but also the ultimate outcome reasonably expected. Invest in things which will have lasting impact on our energy problems, long term. Think seven generations forward because it makes good sense to do so. Our children will be the winners!
