Request for Initial Comments

FFN members are aware that there will be environmental impacts of the project, and many anticipate that it could affect their land use—especially hunting, fishing, and plant/medicine harvesting. With current TLU documented in proximity of the Project, there is potential for direct and indirect Cumulative project effects on FFN land use because of land disturbance and disruption of land use resources (such as wildlife, plants, fish, and water). Impacts also occur because of increased numbers of non-FFN members in the area and changes to land access (via new land access created by the Project or traffic on roads that impedes FFN land access).
