Grassy Narrows First Nation - Comments on draft TISG for Great Bear Gold Project

Please see the attached comments filed by CELA counsel on behalf of Grassy Narrows First Nation in relation to the draft Tailored Impact Statement Guidelines for the Great Bear Gold Project. 

Grassy Narrows First Nation submits that the draft TISG is inadequate, unacceptable, and requires substantial revision before it can be finalized and issued to the proponent in this case. In short, the draft TISG is premature, inappropriate, overgeneralized, and overlooks or glosses over significant environmental issues that have been raised by Grassy Narrows First Nation during the planning phase to date.

Accordingly, Grassy Narrows First Nation concludes the draft TISG should not be finalized and issued at this time.
