In Support of Moraine Power Generation Project

The Town of Whitecourt supports the proposed power generation project located near Whitecourt.  The proposed location makes good use of the property; there is good infrastructure access in place; and the proposed project will provide short and long term employment for the community. The power generation created by the facility and the CO₂ capture component is a key feature of the project.  Please see the attached letter for more information.
