Texte: Between 1972 and 1975 a significant planning public planning exercise was undertaken by the Ontario Ministry of Housing. Following considerable public discussion the final report recommended the community of Cedarwood be constructed east of West Duffins Creek thereby protecting the maximum amount of Class One Farmland west of West Duffins Creek. It is recommended that the Impact Assessment Panel review the supporting documents available at the City of Pickering Main Library history room.
