Camp Canada Bunker Upgrade - Ali Al-Salem Air Base, Kuwait

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project which involves the construction of ten new bunkers in order to improve Camp Canada's force protection capabilities. The project includes the removal of existing bunkers on the camp and the construction of eight three-channel bunkers and two single-channel bunkers. The work includes the necessary groundwork to level the area where the new bunkers are to be located.

Latest update

June  8, 2022— The Department of National Defence issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
