Say NO to GIFL

1.As you know, sadly the Lake Simcoe ECOSYSTEM will be negatively impacted by a fixed link to Georgina Island.

2. The fixed link will cause stagnant water by blocking the wave action and water currents from the West.This will produce a TERRIBLE SMELL on the lake.

3.The beautiful view of THE SUNSET and THE OPEN LAKE will be blocked for everyone to the South East of THE GIFL.
 

4. The correct solution for transporting people in cars in winter in this situation is an ELECTRIC zero emission icebreaking FERRY BOAT which is in use at the present time at the Toronto ISLAND AIRPORT and in many other places in Ontario. This can replace the existing ferry. This is safer then driving across the GIFL in Winter This is MUCH MORE environmentally friendly then the GIFL This is available at A FRACTION OF THE COST of GIFL
