Rehabilitate and Preserve our Heritage

I would really like to see more consideration taken toward rehabilitation and preservation of the bridge. This is a landmark bridge in Ottawa that should be preserved and not by a photograph.

The Port Credit Bridge in Mississauga was destined for demolition but was saved after public outcry. The same should happen here.

Canada needs to do a better job of keeping and protecting its heritage and historical assets. Keep them out of the landfill. A plaque to remember the bridge doesn't cut it.
