My understanding is that a hydro-electric plant would be built at the water pypass to the pit. I think it would be a good idea, if it isn't in the current plans, to build a second plant at the site of the dam on the Victoria creek where the infrastructure already exists and I think was built for the original mine. Both of these should be given to Dobbie and/or Beaverhouse after mining ceases and any excess power given to them for free.
