Greetings;

Three pillars of any development need to be a balance of social, economic, and ecological benefits.

I have no idea how this new development is going to play out , however my recommendation is for EVR to purchase properties along the Elk River and significant fish spawning creeks, between Fording River and Elko to the equivalent of 33.3% of their total held property/mining rights in the Elk Valley.

The purpose of these new property purchases would be to enhance and protect the natural heritage of the Elk River watershed for all residents and visitors to appreciate and recreate in perpetuity.

These properties should be purchased with the Elk Valley's First Nations input and management. A board of directors from these First Nations as well as all the valley's Outdoor sports alliances and Wildsight would ensure the successs of this venture.

So that said, if this new development, or if any other future development is approved, then the deal is they are to purchase new Elk River (or watershed) properties to add to the growing watershed protection areas and natural enhancement holdings. Please consider this idea. Thank you for reviewing all these comments from the public.
